Growing up in the church is the
best influence my life could have ever had. Knowing
God’s “right from wrong”
many times is different than
society’s standards and certainly
more important. But the knowledge
is only part of the battle;
the “doing” is usually
the tough
part. At least the influence of
church ministry raises the odds of success
to our side and I don’t know
about you, but personally, I can use
all the help I can get! I’m very thankful
to Him that He has allowed me to use the talent He gave
me for the work of His ministry. Having played in
club bands since the early 70’s, this
“music as a ministry” is very new
to me, and very exciting. If the
ministry of music helps just
one person become “influenced” toward
God’s message, I’m humbled to
be a part of that.

Bob started playing guitar at age
five, started writing songs at 14, and was on the road
with
a country band in his twenties. In 1975
his song, In Walked
a Teardrop, placed out at # 9
on the charts. Dixie played guitar
and sang at Church. They met and were
wed in 1987.
In 1996, they had the honor to sing one of their
own songs on the Jimmy Snow gospel segmet of the
Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. This
wonderful Christian Couple has written many gospel
songs, which are available for a single to a quartet
to be picked up for recordings, with the publishing

reach more people, and more souls will come to the

Steve Samano
- Drums - The
Band of Believers
Steve Samano plays in numerous bands
in and around the Fresno, California area. He is
highly regarded for his professional
abilities, talents, as well as his friendliness
and ability to fit in and get along with
other Musicians. Steve befriended Rob
Culver and RJ Jones of The
Band of Believers by stepping
in to help out when a vacancy suddenly occurred at the
drummers spot. Steve's vast experience was a tremendous
help to the "TheMissionary"
project.

and we all have the desire to share that Living Water
with others. We want everyone we come in contact
with, to see the thirst in us, to desire the thirst for
themselves and experience the thirst firsthand. THYRST
encourages all to seek God, listen for His words and reach
out to the hand that is always open and ready to grasp
your hand. Jesus is waiting for all,
He is always there. All members of THYRST
have
but One objective, that is to do the will of our Lord
and Savior. God has given each of us gifts. When
we share those gifts with others it is a true blessing

Around a year ago the Lord took
Chad Mattson
on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. After a
few days there he met Christian
guitarist Michael
Gomez. The two starting getting
together to pray and jam and before
they knew it, they had written and recorded a seven
song acoustic album in a Dominican recording studio.
During that time, they were invited to play on la
Vega’s regional television broadcast
and qualified for the regional
finals in a new artist search put on by Level
6 recording company in Nashville, TN,
where they placed 5th overall in the contest.
Out of this experience came Unspoken,
a ministry that impacts people.

School. A military child, she has lived in London,
